As the Senior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Nowatch’s visual identity and content strategy. You’ll create captivating designs and video content for our social media channels, email campaigns, and paid advertisements. You must have experience designing emails (ideally in Klaviyo) and video editing experience. Please do not apply without this requirement. Responsibilities
Content Creation:
Design engaging visual assets for social media posts, emails, and paid ads.
Edit and produce high-quality video content for paid ads and social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Develop motion graphics, animations, and other dynamic visuals to elevate Nowatch’s online presence.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute campaigns aligned with our brand identity.
Partner with copywriter and other team members to ensure cohesive messaging and impactful designs
Work with content social media strategist on co-leading content plans for priority events and initiatives
Trend Awareness:
Stay up-to-date with the latest design and social media trends, adapting content to resonate with our target audience.
Conduct competitive analysis to ensure Nowatch stands out in the wellness and wearable tech space.
Project Management:
Manage the end-to-end content creation process, from ideation to final production.
Ensure all designs and videos are delivered on time, meeting quality standards and marketing objectives.
Job requirements
Experience:
5+ years as a Graphic Designer with video editing experience, preferably in a B2C startup capacity
Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in both graphic design and video editing with the aim of awareness and conversion.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
Experience with video editing techniques, including cutting, sequencing, and incorporating sound.
Familiarity with motion graphics and animations is a plus.
Ideally some CSS and HTML experience to optimize emails and create custom templates
Creative Expertise:
Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling abilities.
In-depth understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and audience behavior.
Solid grasp of typography, color theory, and layout composition.
Mindset:
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Be able to work in a fast paced organization with ambiguity, less structure, and work quickly to changing business demands
Adaptable and open to feedback, ensuring designs align with Nowatch’s brand vision.
