Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain our critical infrastructure and automate our software delivery pipelines. You should have a deep affinity for scalable systems, cloud technologies (especially AWS), and ensuring the reliability and security of our services. If you are a curious and self-driven, eager to drive innovation in infrastructure automation, with a keen ability to optimize processes and troubleshoot complex systems, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing, and managing robust CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.

  • Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure consistent and reproducible environments.

  • Managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure on AWS, including compute, storage, networking, and database services.

  • Implementing and overseeing comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance.

  • Automating operational tasks and developing scripts to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.

  • Collaborating with development teams to ensure infrastructure supports application needs and to embed DevSecOps best practices throughout the software lifecycle.

  • Ensuring high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery for all critical systems.

  • Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and participating in incident response and post-mortems.

  • Staying informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies in cloud, automation, and DevOps.

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or similar infrastructure-focused engineering role.

  • Demonstrable history of planning, leading, and executing projects related to infrastructure automation and cloud deployments.

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).

  • Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.).

  • Strong proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

  • Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Go) for automation and tooling.

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices in cloud environments.

  • Creative thinker, able to think critically about system architecture and operational efficiency.

  • Ability to relay complex technical insights in clear, concise terms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
